Leading the Way

Creating vibrant, supportive communities is what Masonic Homes has always been about. Our new logo is of a tree made up of many leaves of various colors – the leaves symbolizing our communities that come together to form one unit. It visually communicates the simplicity and ease of living with Masonic Homes, while meeting the needs of the people it serves.

NEW COMMUNITIES

Meadow Active Lifestyle Community

Meadow will feature 122 independent living apartment-style residences and will encompass approximately 230,000 square feet across 11 acres of land on the Louisville Campus. Meadow is designed for those aged 62 and older and offers Life Care, an innovative way of providing estate protection and health care assurance to help offset the cost of future medical care.

Amenities at Meadow will include a full-service restaurant, private dining, casual bistro dining, an 80-person movie theatre, creative arts studio and gallery, putting green, beauty salon and spa, fitness center, community living rooms, courtyard with outdoor seating and fireplace, library and business/media room.

Grove Pointe Assisted Living Community

Grove Pointe is a new choice for assisted living: a comfortable, carefree lifestyle with a balance of independence and support, as well as first-class services and amenities. Grove Pointe, located behind The Olmsted, offers 48 private apartments with personalized plans for daily assistance. Residents will have access to a variety of services, including a full-service clinic, rehabilitation therapy, and other state-of-the-art equipment and treatment programs.

The community also offers gourmet dining, interior and exterior home maintenance, staff on site 24 hours a day, weekly housekeeping and linen service, and a life enrichment calendar of events and daily activities.

NEW SERVICES

Care Clinic

Care Clinic opened in the spring of 2018 and makes doctor appointments for Masonic Communities’ residents and employees easy. The full-service clinic, located next to Grove Pointe, means that a doctor’s appointment to treat a stubborn cold or to get a flu shot is now only a few steps away.

The clinic will offer both primary care physicians, as well as specialists. Specialties offered include podiatry, chiropractic, optometry, audiology, radiology, lab services and behavioral health. Shuttle service is available on campus.

FirstLight Home Care

Whether you’re recovering from surgery, coping with a disability or simply need a little help around the house, you can get the services you need to live where you want – at home. The FirstLight Home Care team of professionals is specially trained and specifically matched to provide the level of assistance you need, and feel safe and secure with your caregiver.

Services include both companion care and personal care, including medication reminders, meal preparation, laundry services, mail and paperwork organization, bathing and hygiene, walking and mobility assistance, eating assistance and more.

EXPANSIONS

Sproutlings Pediatric Day Care & Preschool

With its low student-teacher ratio and a full range of resources to assist children of all abilities, Sproutlings is an exceptional place for kids to grow and learn. The center currently serves 115 children, about a third of whom have complex medical diagnoses that require a level of care not typically found in traditional day care settings. More than 100 children are on a wait list, with waits as long as a year or more. An expansion this fall, which will include four new classrooms and a large indoor multipurpose room, will enable Sproutlings to serve an additional 48 children and help reduce the wait list.
