Community Holiday Delivery Guidelines

Nearly 16 billion holiday packages were delivered last year. In our current environment, holiday deliveries will definitely exceed 2019. Masonic Homes Kentucky’s communities are preparing for an influx of deliveries, from both friends and families, as well as commercial deliveries like UPS, FedEx and Amazon. To help expedite deliveries being received and properly distributed, please view the guidelines below. Guidelines are broken down by community.

Crescent Grove Memory & Personal Care Community

  • Families are welcome to drop off deliveries prior to or following a pre-scheduled visit.
  • Families can ring the doorbell at the main entrance and a staff member will come retrieve the delivery. You can call 502.753.8855 or 502.753.8828 for assistance.
  • Make sure all deliveries are clearly marked with the resident’s name and apartment number if available.
  • Deliveries must be in a sealed container or box that can be easily sanitized.
  • All clothing will be laundered before delivered to resident.
  • Gift bags will be opened to show the resident the gift. All gift bags will be properly disposed of.
  • Deliveries from commercial companies, UPS, FedEx and Amazon, will be sanitized and delivered to residents as soon as possible. Clothing items will first be laundered then delivered to residents.

Grove Pointe Assisted Living Community

  • Families are welcome to drop off deliveries prior to or following a pre-scheduled visit.
  • Make sure all deliveries are clearly marked with the resident’s name and apartment number if available.
  • Deliveries must be in a sealed container or box that can be easily sanitized.
  • All clothing will be laundered before delivered to resident.
  • Deliveries from commercial companies, UPS, FedEx and Amazon, will be delivered to residents as soon as possible.

Sam Swope Care Center

  • Families are welcome to drop off deliveries prior to or following a pre-scheduled visit.
  • Deliveries may be dropped off to the Concierge from 8 am – 8 pm.
  • Make sure all deliveries are clearly marked with the resident’s name and apartment number if available.
  • Deliveries must be in a sealed container or box that can be easily sanitized.
  • Gift bags will be opened to show the resident the gift. All gift bags will be properly disposed of.
  • Deliveries from commercial companies, UPS, FedEx and Amazon, will be sanitized and delivered to residents as soon as possible.

Meadow and Miralea Active Lifestyle Communities

  • All deliveries at Meadow and Miralea must be left on the Valet Cart located inside the first set of sliding doors at each community.
  • Residents are responsible for picking up their deliveries, so please notify your loved one after you have made a delivery so they can retrieve it as soon as possible. This is especially important for perishable items.
  • During Concierge hours, Monday-Friday 7 am to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm., we will try to alert residents to deliveries. Note: Masonic’s Independent Living Communities close at 2 pm on Christmas Eve and are closed Christmas Day. If you are expecting a delivery on Dec. 24 or 25, please check the Valet Cart or ask the person delivering to notify you when it arrives.

Village Active Lifestyle Community

  • Deliveries should be left on the front porch of the Resident’s building.
  • Visitors are not permitted to enter any Village building or foyer.
  • If possible, family and friends should notify the Resident of any deliveries so they can retrieve them as soon as possible. This is especially important for perishable items. Note: Masonic’s Village Business Office will close at 2 pm on Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day.
  • If you are having a new piece of furniture or item that will require assistance moving into your apartment, you must coordinate the delivery with the Village Business Office at 502.894.0195. The delivery person will be required to complete a Wellness and Travel Form including a temperature check at the Gate House. Security will escort the delivery person to the Resident’s apartment. Both the Resident and delivery person must wear a mask and follow social-distancing guidelines.

Masonic Home Shelbyville and Pillars Assisted Living Community

  • Families are welcome to drop off deliveries prior to or following a pre-scheduled visit.
  • Personal deliveries can be dropped off from 5:30 am-10:30 pm at main entrance (entrance with porch and columns).
  • Make sure all deliveries are clearly marked with the resident’s name and apartment number if available.
  • Deliveries must be in a sealed container or box that can be easily sanitized.
  • All clothing will be laundered before delivered to resident.
  • Gift bags will be opened to show the resident the gift. All gift bags will be properly disposed of.
  • Deliveries from commercial companies, UPS, FedEx and Amazon, will be sanitized and delivered to residents as soon as possible. Clothing items will first be laundered then delivered to residents.
