One Gift Can Touch Many Lives

Charitable Care icon

A Charitable Care gift is for donors who would like their contributions to be used toward Masonic’s greatest needs as a community as a whole, or at our Louisville or Shelbyville campuses. Charitable Care contributions offset the $4.1 million per year subsidized by Masonic for residents who cannot fully pay for services.

Masonic’s Charitable Care includes Masonicare; a program to provide nursing care and other services to Masons, their wives or widows who require financial support while residing at Masonic’s Louisville or Shelbyville campuses. Each year, generous donors have provided more than $1.5 million of support through Masonicare.

Donors who make a gift to Sproutlings Pediatric Day Care & Preschool’s Charitable Care general fund can be confident in knowing their contributions will be used toward the greatest needs which could include specialized, adaptive equipment, programs, technology and supplies.

FM is an opportunity for any donor to make recurring, monthly donations to support Charitable Care at Masonic. Gifts made by Brothers, their wives or widows will be calculated by lodge affiliation. When total contributions made by lodge members equal a Badge of a Mason giving level, the lodge will be recognized.

Friends of Sproutlings is an opportunity for any donor to make recurring, monthly donations to support Sproutlings.

Funds raised will be used to support Masons and widows that may need assistance while residing at Masonic. This dedicated Masonic lodge program introduces a special apron for each level of giving. All participating lodges will be recognized at the John E. Moyer Master Masons Dinner.

Gifts made in memory or in honor of an individual, or to commemorate an event are a meaningful way to provide a tribute to a person or organization. Gifts can be a one-time donation or reoccurring contributions.

Capital Fund icon

Donations to our Capital Fund allows Masonic to prosper, change and remain a leader in community living and care. Gifts are used to refurbish and renovate existing spaces, support new construction, transportation needs and other endeavors to ensure our prosperity for years to come.

The Sam Swope Care Center was designed to provide skilled nursing and rehabilitation recovery services in a state-of-the-art home-like environment. As residents thrive and recover better in comfortable surroundings, gifts to help replace the furnishings of each resident’s private room has a direct impact on their enjoyment of their accommodations.

Masonic’s communities are designed to support and encourage a healthy lifestyle with access to a full continuum of health care and activities on the Louisville Campus. Gifts to this project will support the development of an Outdoor Activity Center to include two pickleball courts, two shuffleboard courts, one bocce ball court, one horseshoe court, multiple recreational sitting areas and one open-air pavilion.

Contributions to the Shelbyville Vehicle Project allows Masonic to purchase, maintain and replace comfortable, access and reliable transportation for Shelbyville residents to travel to local errands, group activities and health care appointments.

Endowment icon

Masonic’s endowment grows a donor’s gift through investable assets, which are used for operations or programs consistent with the wishes of our contributors.

The James Garnett Fellowship supports Masonic’s endowment fund to help continue Past Grand Master Garnett’s commitment to ensuring the prosperity of our communities in Louisville and Shelbyville. New members will receive a lapel pin and frame able certificate.

The Olmsted Society was created to recognize individuals who have named Masonic as a beneficiary of their will, life insurance policy and/or gift annuity. Members are recognized at Masonic’s Olmsted Society banquet with a membership gift, lapel pin, and receive invitations to Olmsted Society exclusive events.

Workforce Support icon

Masonic values our employees because of the passion they bring to the profession and the belief that by first caring for our employees, the residents and others in our care will benefit from this support. Masonic has a variety of programs to support and grow these individuals.

Masonic extends its hand to help employees during times of crisis and need. The IMPACT fund is support for employees, which includes an application process and committee review, with the goal of supporting the ones who support and care for our residents and patients.

The Madelyn Johnson Raderer Nursing Education Scholarship was established to provide financial support to employees to further their education as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), License Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN).

Scholarship provides financial support to outstanding employees seeking to further their career in health care.
