A Savory Partnership

A favorite Frankfort Avenue lunch spot, Crave Café & Catering, relocated to Masonic Homes Kentucky’s Louisville Campus in early February. The daily crowd shows a huge craving for the new location.

Serving up its cult-favorite soups, sandwiches and salads, Crave operates from the lower level of The Olmsted with a dedicated entrance, designated public parking, expanded dining area and a new private dining room for hosted events. It also operates a robust catering business and two food trucks.

Crave’s new location offers an expansive space of more than 4,300 sq. ft., seating for 60 guests including a private dining room that can seat up to 16. A covered patio allows for el fresco dining.

“I had been considering a change for years then Masonic Homes Kentucky made me a great offer,” said Crave Owner/Operator Shannon Foster. This has been a whirlwind few months and we are thrilled. Our regular customers love the new location and it’s been great to see the positive impact we have had on residents and employees by offering a new restaurant option that’s both delicious and convenient.”

With two full-service restaurants at Meadow and Miralea Active Lifestyle Communities for residents and their guests, and dining services at its other communities, Crave provides another venue that is also open to the public.

“We searched for the perfect partner to join our growing community. Crave Café & Catering was the right fit and allows us to offer another dining option to our residents, their family members and our employees,” said Masonic Homes Kentucky CEO J Scott Judy. “They are an established, locally-owned business focused on creating amazing food and an outstanding customer experience. In fact, Shannon said ‘they are the best kept secret on Frankfort Avenue’ and I often say that about our communities. Now, we are working together to share all the great things happening at one place.”

Crave is open Monday through Friday from 11 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 11 am to 4 pm.
