Masonic Homes Kentucky Welcomes Oerther as Safety and Security Director

Louisville, KY (January 30, 2026) — Masonic Homes Kentucky welcomes Tyler Oerther as safety and security director. He will oversee all of the community’s security, safety and emergency preparedness operations on the Louisville Campus in accordance with local, state and federal standards. The Louisville Campus spans 82 acres and is home to more than 800 residents and features 20-plus buildings.

Oerther will be responsible for directing and implementing quality and efficient safety operations, hiring, training and management of Security employees, coordination of emergency response and preparedness and serving as the liaison to law enforcement, EMS and fire.

Prior to joining Masonic Homes Kentucky, Oerther served as director of public safety for the Louisville and Lexington Sullivan University campuses.
