Leadership Announcement 2019

Masonic Homes Kentucky’s Board of Directors has named J Scott Judy Chief Executive Officer. Judy, who served as Masonic’s Chief Operating Officer for nearly 15 years replaces Gary Marsh. Masonic’s Chief Financial Officer, Todd Lacy has been promoted to President.

“Masonic Homes Kentucky has experienced considerable growth in services,” said Board Chairman Harold Armstrong, PGM. “J Scott is a great choice to become Masonic’s next CEO and lead the organization forward in its next phase of growth.”

Armstrong thanked the Masonic corporate and community management teams for not allowing the search process to disrupt the organization’s operations or strategic initiatives. “The team has stayed focused and moved forward,” said Armstrong. “J Scott and Todd share a passion with the Board of Directors to provide faith, hope and charity to older adults, children and many others who turn to Masonic Homes for a carefree lifestyle.”

“It is an honor to be chosen as the person to build upon the momentum Masonic has had for decades. This organization was established as the first Masonic home in the world; the many changes that have occurred here have made Masonic stronger and stretched our reach beyond what was imaginable when it was founded in 1867. It is a great responsibility,” said Judy.

Lacy joined Masonic in September 2007 after directing the accounting and financial functions for E.P.I. Healthcare Corp., a multi-facility long-term care, hospital and rehabilitation business, for 10 years. Lacy has more than 20 years of healthcare finance experience, integrating both for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare delivery systems.

“We have an exceptionally talented team with immeasurable passion and proven performance. I am incredibly excited to assume this role and for the future of the organization,” said Lacy. “We will continue to innovate our services, find future growth opportunities and provide compassionate care, remarkable service and unmatched lifestyles.”

“Together, Todd and I will build upon the 152-year legacy of caring for the needs of aging adults and many others thanks to the talented teams already in place at our corporate support center and at each of our communities,” said Judy. “Masonic Homes Kentucky will remain focused on delivering remarkable service, innovation, growing our services and providing the passionate, quality care that is expected of us.”
