Masonic Homes of Kentucky has always been dedicated to providing the highest-quality services centered around our residents. The latest evolution of this commitment is Sam Swope Care Center, a 196,000-sq.-ft. skilled-nursing facility designed with home in mind.
Health care that's anything but clinical
Sam Swope Care Center is not your typical nursing facility. Thinking happiness is as critical to our residents as the treatment they receive, we've created an environment that feels more like home than a medical setting. We have private households that overlook a waterfall courtyard and beautifully landscaped grounds. It's the future of health care now on our Louisville campus.
Each of our six graciously appointed households has a key area of focus:
- Short-term nursing care
- Inpatient and outpatient kidney dialysis
- Advanced memory care
- Hospice and palliative care
- Subacute and long-term care (two households)
Care and compassion in an incomparable setting
Each household includes private and semi-private suites, a fully equipped residential kitchen, dining area and comfortable living rooms. The households are linked by an artistically styled interior Main Street, complete with Down the Stretch Café, Style on Main Salon, Gifts on Main and activity rooms.
